Day 249 - Full Moon

I really like this picture. If you look closely on the bottom left side of the moon, you can even see the 3D relief of the surface...

Day 246 - Light Sabers (Night Theme)
If it wasn't for the dark night (pun intended), we would probably not appreciate the brilliance of Light!

Day 240 - Stretching

My friend Mia needed pictures for her new website. She wants to become a personal trainer at home. We had an amazing photoshoot this weekend, combining modeling and workout pictures. We are both very proud of the results!
You can see some other pictures I took of her on FlickR @

When enthalpy briefly wins over entropy.
Or when the light side takes over the dark side of the force!

Day 229
There is too much snow when it comes to shoveling, but it can result in some pretty nice pictures... This one was taken in the Boston Public Garden.

jour 228

This morning, on Chabot street, at home. I wake up, I open my beautiful Mac and I take this picture.
I don't know why but I like it ... je ne sais pas pourquoi mais je l'aime bien ...

Point Reyes Lighthouse

The Point Reyes Lighthouse lens and mechanism were constructed in France in 1867. The clockwork mechanism, glass prisms and housing for the lighthouse were shipped on a steamer around the tip of South America to San Francisco. The parts from France and the parts for the cast iron tower were transferred to a second ship, which then sailed to a landing on Drakes Bay. The parts were loaded onto ox-drawn carts and hauled three miles over the headlands to near the tip of Point Reyes, 600 feet above sea level.
You need to go there to understand what the construction of this lighthouse involved. pretty amazing.

Day 211 - Electric Spaghetti (Freestyle)
This is an extension of my previous idea. Adding the fourth dimension (time) to still imagery makes some interesting effects.

Day 205 - Profanity (FreeStyle)

I meant to have the sun as a halo around his head, but I got there too late... the sun had gone down... I took the picture anyways in case the effect could be interesting. Once I looked at it on my computer I realized that the sun had gone profanatory low!

Day 204 - Miniature Electronics
These are tiny capacitors (0.00004 " x 0.00002") used in most modern electronics. To the naked eye these look like sand grains. These are not the smallest ones, there are even smaller ones which are 0.00002 x 0x00001 inch, which are almost invisible!

At the end of road 138, after Natashquan, intense moment that I can still feel in my stomach !
